Investigation & Modelling
Photographs supported three practical observations: open glazing was reflective, the glass table was a hard surface in the listening path, and the recessed centre could affect dialogue and front-stage integration. Calculated ARC correction was kept separate from fresh measured evidence.

Controlled Optimisation Plan
Use closed curtains as the listening reference and isolate one physical variable at a time before running a fresh ARC measurement.
- Keep listening position, speaker positions, ARC profile, programme material and level fixed
- Remove the glass table, or cover its full surface with substantial soft material
- Restore the baseline before judging the next change
- If safely supported, bring the centre baffle flush with the cabinet edge
- Compare a small equal reduction in front-speaker toe-in separately
- Run a fresh ARC measurement only after accepted physical changes are stable
